Generally speaking a lost passport equals a ruined or stressful holiday. With the help of the Spanish Immigrations team I managed to be let into the country after I explained that I had left my passport on the plane which had already departed back to the UK. The next day I called the British embassy and spoke to a lady named Rebekah (with a k) who put my mind at ease and talked me through everything I needed to do. After a quick trip to the Embassy in Palma Mallorca I was on my way with an emergency passport (the lady at the embassy was also extremely helpful). Thanks for saving a trip with my father who was visiting all the way from Canada
